Menu du Voyageur returns!

Those that are long-term patrons of Cure will recall this popular prix fixe meal as a component of our Thursday dining service. We have revived this dinner format as a series of wine- and spirit-pairing dinners to be held in our restaurant once monthly, August through December. Menu du Voyageur challenges our Chefs to draw on their experiences and inspirations to craft a meal that highlights a particular culinary theme. This results in intrepid cooking that creates flavors adventurous and delicious.

For this 'season' of these Menus du Voyageur, we'll look around the corner, to the ways French wine tradition informs FLX viticulture, as well as around the globe to draw inspiration from the distillation traditions of Ireland. The schedule for these dinners is below, including a vignette of the beverage pairings informing each of our culinary pursuits:

+ August 23: "CHOSEN FAMILY" FLX Wine Pairing – You can choose your family, and you can choose your drinks. This group of three friends end up family as they put their heads together to make solid wine in the thriving FLX wine region.

+ September 20: "TWICE NOT THRICE" Irish Whiskey Pairing – Twice distilled Irish whiskey leaves a lot more flavor kicking around in the glass.

+ October 18: "ASSISTANCE FRANÇAISE" Bourbon's French Tribute – Bourbon County is named such as a paying of respect to Louis the XVI for the French assistance to the US in the Revolutionary War. What a delicious homage!

+ November 15: "STILL CRAFT" Honeoye Falls Distilling Pairing – A demonstration of quality and authenticity informing creative insight. Fantastic local spirits anchor cocktails to match with Cure cuisine.

+ December 20: "FRANCE EN AMÉRIQUE" French Grapes via Cali: a Pairing – The wines made by a member of the band Half Japanese and his wife, informed by farmer-philosophy and the avoidance of prevailing dogma, are showcased next to creations from the Cure kitchen.

*Each Menu du Voyageur begins at 6:30 PM. The cost per guest is $69.00, includes a 4-course meal, wine or spirit pairings, gratuity and tax. Menu substitutions and requests are regretfully not accommodated. Specific menus for each dinner will be posted closer to each event.
